F.A.Q.

  • What is Alquilovers?

We are Real Estate managers and we really love rentals (and we shout it from the rooftops). We work with our own portfolio of rental properties. Our motto is: No agency fees and long live the rent!

  • Do you allow pets?

As a rule of thumb, we do allow pets in our flats. On the other side, we need to adapt to the homeowners' association regulations. Therefore, it might be possible that pets, or a specific species, are not allowed in some communities. When you visit a flat, feel free to ask our agent for the specific regulations of that homeowners' association.

  • Who is in charge of the fees for setting up the utilities?

The tenant can choose freely the utility companies that will provide service. That way, the tenant will be able to pay and manage the bills directly. The fees for setting up the utilities will be charged to the tenant. Alquilovers will provide you with the gazettes showing that you have access to utilities as indicated by the Leases' Law published in the Spanish official gazette, BOE.

  • What is the required deposit?

The deposit amount is one month's rent, as specified by the Urban Leases' Law.

  • Additional guarantees

As an additional guarantee, a deposit equivalent to two months rent will be requested.

  • What is a scoring?

Scoring is an automatic evaluation system used to determine, among other things, if the rental is approved. Given the information included in the database and the data presented by the candidate, the scoring system reviews the individual's ability to afford the required payments. This method introduces an objective and solid evaluation, given that everyone is evaluated equally, avoiding subjective criteria.

  • What is the total cost of moving in?

In Alquilovers, we require the obligatory month of rent as deposit and two additional months as guarantee. …No agency fees! On the other hand, the tenant is responsible for the expenses of setting up the utilities, as specified before in our FAQ’s.

  • What documents are required in order for me to rent?

  • Is every flat empty when handed over?

Correct. We hand over our flats empty in order for Alquilovers to decorate their new homes any way they like. On the other hand, some flats might have some fitted or built-in furniture that will need to stay in the property.
